Jeremy Atkins
Brother Jeremy came to Truth Baptist previously serving as the Worship/Congregational song leader and Singles Sunday School teacher at Teays Valley Baptist Church in Charleston, West Virginia. Additionally, the Atkins family have been ministering to surrounding churches in Evangelism over the last few years. He previously served as the Assistant Pastor at Capital City Baptist Church where he received his Ordination.
The Atkins family is raising three beautiful children; Lane, Lacey, and Lemuel. Pastor Jeremy and Mrs. Brittany both have such a loving heart and a warm demeanor, and it’s evident to everyone who encounters them. As the Pastor, Jeremy’s personal vision for Truth Baptist Church is to grow biblically sound disciples, have ministries to reach any and all lost and be a lamp of hope in Northern VA.

"Welcome to the Truth Baptist Church website! I’m Pastor Jeremy Atkins and before I invite you to come visit us, let me tell you a little about myself!
I am married to my beautiful wife Brittany Atkins. I have 3 beautiful children Lane, Lacey and Lemuel. I’m an avid outdoorsman and most of all I love Jesus! Sure, you may see me dressed up on Sunday in a suit, but don’t be surprised if you see me on Monday under a car hood turning a wrench or dirty and dusty from working on a house. At the end of the day I’m just a regular person like you trying to deal with this busy, crazy life!
What gets me through? What keeps me on the right track? Relationship! Not religion, but a relationship with Jesus! I have learned that religion with its laws and rules forces people to do right, often robbing us of our joy. But a relationship with Jesus makes me want to try to do right, giving a sense of fulfillment and at the end of the day having much joy! If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, start one today!
